"Conversation should be pleasant without scurrility, witty without affectation, free without indecency, learned without conceitedness, novel without falsehood."

I watched Bridget Jones's diary last night. Not the lastest one. The old one. I wanted to remind myself of the last one before I see the new one. This film never fails to make me smile. For all the lonely hearts of the world it is a wonderful film. Slightly self absorbed, but hey who isn't. I was discussing marriage with a friend today. Me and marriage aren't two things I would be putting together anytime soon. Marriage to me seems like a prison sentence. My friend was slightly more...

Would you pay any of these men for sex? Link In a recent poll forty percent of Brit ladies said they were willing to pay men for sex and escort services. That is a pretty high percentage and I have to say I'm not one of these ladies. I can't say that paying a man for his company does it for me. Going from the look of these men, there's nothing I couldn't get for free down the pub on a Friday night. So why go to the effort of paying £300, for the services of one of these men. Lookin...

There's something about the way I'm feeling at the moment, that I just truely can't explain. It's not sad. It's close, but not quite. I promised myself I wouldn't write about this, but I find writing is the best therapy for me, to get all my thoughts in order and things in to perspective. I don't even really know where to start. This weekend has been the most awful weekend I have had, since, well since forever. It was supposed to be the best weekend. I was going to do something that ma...

Just to clarify, I don't think ALL men are dirty rotten cheats. Just the majority of them, hehe...no sorry....I think that both men and women are just as capable of these acts, but I'm taking this viewpoint because of a discussion I had with someone. According to this someone, men are made to cheat. They are incapable of remaining faithful to anyone, where as women are. Because we are not sexual creatures like men. This person says he has been madly in love on several occasions with pe...

Here it is folks go and play.... Link Marriage is something I don't think I will ever be entering into, for lots of reasons. It just doesn't appeal to me. This game was fun though, I got a boob job, and a happy husband out of it. What could be better!!!!

I've hurt my back. I don't mean hurt my back, like ouch every time I bend over, I mean as in I can barely walk. It's annoying to say the least. I have felt it coming on for a while now, and today I woke up, and it wasn't to bad, but as they day has progressed it has slowly got worse and worse, until I've reached the point where i don't really want to move! I think a visit to the doctors is in order, but I'll put it off for as long as possible. Anyway grumble over about my back, I ha...

So you get dumped. Your world is coming to an end. The person you built your world around for the last, forever long is no longer in your life. They may have cheated on you, you may have cheated on them, you may have just grown apart. Anything could of happened. Your heart feels like it could break into a million little pieces. You cry until you feel you could never cry again, yet somehow you manage it. You rely on support of friends and family to get this person out of your head. You...

Whilst listening to the radio a while ago, a lady phoned in and said she had discovered her boyfriend was cheating on her, and had kicked him out. Nothing really odd there is there. I mean people cheat everyday. We know it's so easy to do, and love and trust doesn't seem to weigh very highly when it comes to todays couple. However, this ladies story got stranger. Her boyfriend went off to the pub with his friends, and she went to do some work on the pc they shared. She discovered his ar...

Men confuse the hell out of me. One in particular really confuses me. Lets talk in general though. They send mixed messages. They backtrack. They lie. Their feelings are particularly difficult to understand, so in my search to understand men, yes ladies I am attempting the impossible . I came across this list of secrets, hehe! Should be interesting.... ( These secrets were written by a man, obviously, so don't think I am getting confused by my own sex...waffle, read on...) Sec...

Arranged marriage is a concept I never really got my head around. I went to a school that had alot of different ethnic groups there. It was also an all girls school. I remember there was Indian girls there, who weren't really interested in work, didn't really care about the usual girly stuff, like how they looked, what the boys thought. Because? They were having an arranged marriage, their life was already set out for them. They didn't have to worry to much, put faith in their parents, ...

Have you ever come across anyone in your life that as much as you like and care about them, then can infuriate you just as much. I have that person in my life, this is to you, you know who you are Ten things I love about you... 1) When you speak to me I feel my heart melt, and nothing else seems to make sense 2) That you can make me laugh and smile, and you don't even try. 3) I can make very little sense, yet you understand. 4) You care, like no one else I know. You made ...

Is there an age on love? I mean people suggest love has its price, but does it have its age limit too. I'm not talking about being to old to fall in love, I'm talking about mixed age relationships. 17-year-old Stacey Furneaux and 64-year-old love Brian Williams married yesterday. Her parents were against it, and didn't attend. They eloped to Scotland, so she could legally marry there. So is it right or wrong, and are we really the people to decide? I have to admit, that I judged. Spe...

I saw a survery had been done about bisexuality, and I have to admit it got me rather excited. You see here in England, being bisexual is somewhat of a trendy thing. The stars are doing it, so why shouldn't we? It is fashionable it would seem to not have a preference for men or women. Or at least be willing to experiment. Sex is no longer just for making babies, it is fun, and something people enjoy doing. They especially like experimenting with it. Right now in England, a third of fem...

I like conflict. In friendships, relationships. I like a bit of conflict. Now it takes alot for me to admit that. It's not something I am proud of, but it is true. If a friendship is going nicely, and just passing by, I get the need to cause a little conflict. I don't know if it is my way of testing the friendship, or injecting some excitement. It is not something I do intentionally, I just get itchy feet, and feel the need to cause a problem. Maybe it is because I never deal with pro...

I like manly men. Men who are real men. A little rough and ready. I don't dig a man who spends more time getting ready than me. I don't like a man that just gazes at himself more than me. I don't like a man that will only wear designer clothes. I don't like fem men. It seems that we are living in a world that these men are becoming more and more popular. Men should care about their appearance, use creams on their face, have plastic surgery, buy nice clothes, be in touch with their fee...
