So you get dumped. Your world is coming to an end. The person you built your world around for the last, forever long is no longer in your life. They may have cheated on you, you may have cheated on them, you may have just grown apart. Anything could of happened. Your heart feels like it could break into a million little pieces. You cry until you feel you could never cry again, yet somehow you manage it. You rely on support of friends and family to get this person out of your head. You will eventually get over it, the key is, not to dwell on the past. How will you get over it then?
That was of course until we got the internet. Now we don't need family and friends. Now we don't need to get over it. We can embrace our unhappiness and misery, we can in fact enjoy it! We can join the dumped website, and be miserable with a bunch of other people that have been dumped. Discuss our misery. Help each other through it, virtually group hug and all that. You know what the best part is? We can pay for the privilege! That's right, did I forget to tell you, we now have to pay to be miserable, or more to the point to be dumped! What a novel idea, cash in on peoples misery and pain. Why go for free, to family and friends who actually care about you, when you can pay to be with a bunch of bitter and twisted people who just can't get over their break-up! I personally think it's a great idea, hehe!
Ok, so maybe slightly tongue in cheek there. The concept of this website is a good one. That people who are going through a break up get together and help each other through a difficult time. Maybe even meet new people, and it's all very nice. I have to spot some flaws with it though. When do you leave? When is he break up period over? Why would you want to meet someone else when you've just broke up with someone? Why the hell do you have to pay for it? If people need that, and it helps, well good for them. It won't be something I'll be going to though. Each to their own I guess!
