I saw a survery had been done about bisexuality, and I have to admit it got me rather excited. You see here in England, being bisexual is somewhat of a trendy thing. The stars are doing it, so why shouldn't we? It is fashionable it would seem to not have a preference for men or women. Or at least be willing to experiment. Sex is no longer just for making babies, it is fun, and something people enjoy doing. They especially like experimenting with it. Right now in England, a third of female club goers consider themselves to be bisexual, and the men love it. I think that is the attraction, that the men like it. That the men find woman, on woman a turn on. What is that about exactly? I never understood that. Apparently is is a huge fantasy for people, to do things with the same sex. I can see the attraction, as I've stated before, I would like to kiss a woman. Anyway here are the results, this was done in different towns across England of 1,000 club goers;

SURVEY RESULTS

1. Would you consider yourself bisexual?

27% yes

LEEDS is home to the highest number of bisexual clubbers, with 44 per cent considering themselves bisexual. Liverpool's clubbers are far less daring, with only 14 per cent saying they swing both ways.

2. If so, is it...

a) A serious lifestyle choice? 23%

Something you are dabbling in? 57%
c) Other 20%

MANCHESTER is home to the highest percentage of dabblers with 76 per cent giving it a try. London is a close second at 73 per cent. Belfast had the highest percentage of full-on bisexuals, with 39 per cent saying it's a serious lifestyle choice for them.

3. Have you ever had a bisexual experience?

40% Yes

LEEDS' clubbers are the most adventurous, with 56 per cent giving it a try. Liverpool's are the most straight-laced, with 69 per cent saying they've never had a bisexual experience.

4. If so, how often has this happened?

a) Once 49%

Occasionally 34%
c) Frequently 17%

OUR survey showed that clubbers in Wales scored the highest percentage who frequently have bisexual experiences, at 31 per cent. Many clubbers in Manchester clearly aren't interested in bisexuality as a lifestyle choice - the city had the highest score for those who'd tried it just once, 58 per cent.

5. Where did you meet?

a) Already knew each other 49%

Nightclub 31%
c) Elsewhere 20%

SLOUGH is where clubbers are most likely to have a bisexual experience with a pal, with an incredible 79 per cent saying they already knew the person they'd had a bisexual encounter with. Manchester scored the highest number who'd met in a club, with 58 per cent.

6. How far do you go?

a) Kissing 40%

Fondling 31%
c) Full sex 21%
d) Turned into relationship 8%

LIVERPOOL'S clubbers were are biggest teases, with 52 per cent restricting themselves to a kiss on the dancefloor. Glasgow, where a quarter of clubbers consider themselves bi, also had the highest figures for going all the way - 30 per cent.

7. Were you most influenced by...

a) Drink? 34%

Drugs? 9%
c) Clubbing atmosphere? 18%
d) Celebrity bisexuals? 5%
e) Trying to flirt with a boy? 5%
f) The thought that you've always felt bisexual? 20%
g) Other? 9%

AGAIN, Liverpool clubbers are the most likely to have a bi experience when they're drunk, with 53 per cent saying alcohol was the biggest influence. Whereas London and Belfast both came first for the numbers who cite drugs as the main reason, at 15 per cent.

8. If you haven't had a bisexual experience, have you ever fantasised about having one?

32% Yes

LEEDS confirms its status as the sexiest city for bisexual action with the highest percentage - 67 per cent - who've fantasised about bisexual experiences without acting on them.

9. And are you planning to act out these fantasies?

40% yes

THE Manchester results show that, at 57 per cent, they have the highest percentage planning to do something about their bisexual fantasies - while most Glaswegian clubbers don't want to act out their fantasies - just 15 per cent said they were planning on it.

10. Which of these celebs would you most like to have a bisexual experience with?

a) Abi Titmuss 20%

Rebecca Loos 18%
c) Madonna 24%
d) Britney Spears 31%
e) Emma from Big Brother 7%

CLUBBERS in Leeds appreciated Emma's charms the most, with 15 per cent fantasising about a fling with her, while not a single clubber in London would consider getting off with her.

Just two notes, I am from Manchester, and Emma is someone you'll have never heard of, and would never want to hear of! Hope you find this as interesting as I did!

Interesting. I suspect if people were not scared of retaliations the numbers would be higher.

yeah me too. People are becoming more open, and willing to experiment. I personally don't see it as a negative, as long as people stay safe

As you said, sex today is more than just procreation. With that being said who cares what people do? As long as no one is being hurt, does it really matter? Although, it does bother me to hear that women are trying this just to get a guy. It doesn't seem to be right to be using sex as a lure.

But maybe i'm a prude.
