Is there an age on love? I mean people suggest love has its price, but does it have its age limit too. I'm not talking about being to old to fall in love, I'm talking about mixed age relationships. 17-year-old Stacey Furneaux and 64-year-old love Brian Williams married yesterday. Her parents were against it, and didn't attend. They eloped to Scotland, so she could legally marry there. So is it right or wrong, and are we really the people to decide? I have to admit, that I judged. Spe...

I'm a smiley happy person. I don't see the point of walking round with a face that resembles a smacked arse. Smiling at people takes no effort at all, yet it usually, even if it is in the smallest way brightens up someones day. Why is it in todays society if you're friendly to people, people have this horrible habit of thinking you are slightly retarded. I made a promise to myself, a few years ago, that I would make an effort to smile at people in the street. To smile at everyone, becau...

I saw a survery had been done about bisexuality, and I have to admit it got me rather excited. You see here in England, being bisexual is somewhat of a trendy thing. The stars are doing it, so why shouldn't we? It is fashionable it would seem to not have a preference for men or women. Or at least be willing to experiment. Sex is no longer just for making babies, it is fun, and something people enjoy doing. They especially like experimenting with it. Right now in England, a third of fem...

I try not to get involved in politics, nevermind politics of a completely different country. It would appear American politics matters everywhere. Not just to the Americans. Hardly surprising is it really, considering the size, and wealth of America. The politics of America will end up having a knock on effect everywhere else. That's just the way things work. When British people demonstrated Bush's state visit last year. Our Prime minister in his infinite wisdom, presumed we were anti-...

Well I want to go back to school. Not just because it was great fun, and I loved it, but now because they have introduced my dream subject to the curriculum. Children now have what is known as a critical thinking class. They tested it here at one school and now it's going across England. It teaches children how to debate, how to argue. How to spot manipulation of the media, how to spot flaws in arguments. How politicians use arguments to their advantage. It is all very clever, and some...

I like conflict. In friendships, relationships. I like a bit of conflict. Now it takes alot for me to admit that. It's not something I am proud of, but it is true. If a friendship is going nicely, and just passing by, I get the need to cause a little conflict. I don't know if it is my way of testing the friendship, or injecting some excitement. It is not something I do intentionally, I just get itchy feet, and feel the need to cause a problem. Maybe it is because I never deal with pro...

What makes someone mature? How do you know when someone has maturity on their side? Since I was very young, people have always commented on how mature I have come across. On occasion it still happens. They say it as a compliment, I think. Either that or they are suggesting that I'm to much of an old hag for my age, but I will take it in the positive sense. I wish I could take credit for this attribute, simply say, oh well that's just the way I am. It's not. I don't even consider mysel...

I wrote an article not long ago about my love for my boobs, and how much I loved them. During a conversation with a friend today, we were discussing why women beat themselves up so much, and had so many things they hated about themselves. I won't go into detail about this, as he already bagged that article. I will just touch on it slightly, that women have so many people telling them they should look a certain way, it is difficult not to feel inferior, when you aren't quite up to standard....

Ok, well it's reached the point where I've had enough of this whole situation, I have bit my tongue for long enough. Now is the time to be open and honest. I shall do the usual disclaimers that these articles appear to have, if you don't like this kind of thing, blah, blah, then leave now and whatever else. As people have pointed out before, your blog is your home, where you are free to write whatever you please. At other peoples houses you remain respectful, and polite, which I do, so I ...

I have never being a great sleeper. Even as a small child I needed very little sleep, and was more interested in what mischief I could get up to while everyone else slept. As an adult my sleep has not improved any. I get on average about six hours a night, if I'm lucky. My sleep though is never disturbed. Once I am asleep, not alot can wake me up. It's just the actual getting to sleep that is a problem, and I tend to wake up early, which also can be a problem. I don't sleep walk, or ta...

I like manly men. Men who are real men. A little rough and ready. I don't dig a man who spends more time getting ready than me. I don't like a man that just gazes at himself more than me. I don't like a man that will only wear designer clothes. I don't like fem men. It seems that we are living in a world that these men are becoming more and more popular. Men should care about their appearance, use creams on their face, have plastic surgery, buy nice clothes, be in touch with their fee...

It was my nieces Christening this weekend. It was a tiring few days, preparation, the actual day, and the recovery. As many of you know my niece wasn't planned. My sister isn't with Maddy Mae's Daddy. She is a single Mum, of a child that is mixed race. Something that my parents had a tough time coming to terms with. They are of a completely different generation, a generation where people of different ethnic origins didn't mix. They are not racist, they are just set in their ways, and h...

Blogging isn't a huge thing here in England, it's a pretty new concept that is slowly but surely catching on. Before joeuser, I'd not really came across the whole blogging experience. I'd seen these online diary things, and If I'm honest I didn't see the point in them. Ok it was somewhere to write down your thoughts, private thoughts, but why on the internet where billions of people have the ability to read them? Well really it is embracing the greatness of the internet, that you still re...

Politics a huge thing for the people of JU. Something that I generally avoid as I have said before, mostly due to a lack of interest and knowledge. Politics is a very important subject, because it effects all of us, whether we like to think it or not. Some of us are happy for decisions to be made for us. To live our lives by other peoples rules, whether we like it or not. To simply have an easy life, where we just nod and agree, and simply carry on with our lives. Then we have others of...

Life is about love. That all important special someone. I'm a romantic, shoot me. An idealist. I would love to be. I have realism to though baby. I buy into all this nice stuff for so long, then my cynical side comes and gives me a big huge kick in the ass, and reminds me that the world isn't so damn rosey after all. Prepare myself for a fall before the world does it for me. Oh yes my friends, that is how I think. Anyway, not making much sense here, as I was saying. I do like to bel...
