The Olympic games start tomorrow. We get to see the best athletes in the world compete against each other. We will see courage, tears and triumph. We will see the result of what has being months and months of preparation. Tough dedication, long training sessions. It will all rest in Athens. Everyone will go in to it wanting to win. Why wouldn't they? It's what it's all about. You don't dedicate so much of your time to something you think you are going to lose in. Of course the takin...

So I've mentioned over the last few blogs. I'm having huge problems sleeping, because of the weather! I'm going to sleep late, and waking up early, so how to fill these twilight hours. Oh what to do with myself? Well last night I enjoyed a trashy tv night. I am ashamed to admit I did actually enjoy it too. I started off slowly with a trip into the world of Justin Timberlake (god bless MTV) I watched where he shopped, where he lived, how much money he earned, a comparison of all the girl...

Mosquito repellents don't repel. They hide you. The spray blocks the mosquito's sensors so they don't know you're there. Dentists have recommended that a toothbrush be kept at least 6 feet away from a toilet to avoid airborne particles resulting from the flush. The liquid inside young coconuts can be used as substitute for blood plasma. No piece of paper can be folded in half more than 7 times. Donkeys kill more people annually than plane crashes. The king...

A rapist who is serving life imprisonment has won over seven million on the lottery. Iorworth Hoare, who was prisoned in 1989 for life for the attempted rape of a 60 year old woman in the park. This was not the first rape he attempted. He was on day release when he took part in the lottery. Should we even have a problem with this? The guy served his time and he could be rehabilitated for all we know. You could argue this isn't fair. Someone who committed crimes, lowest of the low in ...

I looked after Maddy mae today, she is so amazing. Amazing in ways that I would never thought anyone could be. She sneezes and I'm amazed, she coughs and I think *wow*. She is just the best thing to come in my life in a long time. When the world is getting at you, when you are totally confused about things, you can just look at her and she puts things into perspective. How can you not love this little thing, that all ways needs to have a hand on you to feel comfort. How can you not love...

Racism in any form isn't something that sits well with me at all. You see it is all based on ignorance in my opinion. Ignorance of what we don't understand, ignorance of what is different. Everyone needs things to believe in, and some people believe they have the superior race. That their race will be wiped out if they don't stand up for it. That they have to fight. A fight based on ignorance will not be a fight worth fighting. They are hate attacks on people. That's it. On innocent ...

I've had a good weekend. It's being pretty quiet, and I've enjoyed it. The heat is still really bad though. Making it awful to sleep. I'm waking up really early, but it's nice. To be awake when everyone else is sleeping. It's raining here at the moment, but still really warm. It's kind of nice to just walk in the rain, let it hit against your skin and for that second you're just a little bit cooler. It's nice walking in the rain. I don't know what it is, but I can just sit and watch ...

Well I've thought about this, and for once I think I should use as little words as possible. So thanks JU. Here's some funny pics, to make up for lack of words

I read articles about how to promote your blog all time, and in fear of looking stupid I refrain from posting comments on these blogs. I think they do provide valuable advice for those who take this blogging seriously. For me I don't think seriously is the right word. It's fun. I get to meet people (in the virtual sense, hehe) I get to share opinions. You know the drill. I'm guessing the majority of people here do this for the same reasons as me. Of course the points motivate some pe...

The news makes me so sad sometimes. All the awful things going on. The worrying this is we probably don't know half of what goes on in the world. At the moment the news is covering the story of Andrew Wragg. An Ex-soldier who has been arrested for the murder of his son Jacob Wragg. Who was ten years old. Jacob was found dead at his home, and was pronounced dead after an ambulance crew failed to revive him. It later came out, he appeared to die of Asphyxiation. Andrew Wragg is current...

The title of this just amused me. I've written a few articles about how womens roles are different, and their views to sex are different, so I won't get to far into it. Comments like "Women have less sex than their Grans did" really does bring home just how times of changed. My Mum thinks at twenty one, I should be in a long term relationship, considering settling down, doing all the things she did. She was pregnant with my sister at eighteen, had her second baby at twenty one, and then m...

I hate it when things end. The end makes me sad. The end of relationships. The end of school. The end of jobs. The end of friendships. They are all incredibley sad. I'm far more emotional than I'd like to admit. The end is sad for everyone. I know. When something ends, I always seem to forget I'm starting something new to eventually end. I think I am just a creature of comfort. I like to know what's going on, I get used to certain things, and then for them to end, it's sad. It ma...
