I don't really know how to start this blog, I don't consider myself to be very sympathetic, I have sympathy for people in situations beyond their control, I have sympathy for people in pain, people who suffer, but I find it very difficult to have sympathy for people who aren't willing to help themselves, who have options open to them but choose to live their life a certain way and then they aren't willing to live with the consequences, it really annoys me. It's like someone going out on a ni...

I shouldn't read newspapers, as they seem to only have the ability to make me mad, even the sports pages are doing it to me now! Before I start this blog let me just say, i am not against marriage, i've covered this subject before, but I'll say it again. Marriage is a beautiful thing between two people who love each other, who plan on being together till their dying days, who worship the ground each other walk on, who can't bare to be apart. Then yes marriage is a beautiful thing. It is e...

The day is not far off that I am going to be afraid to sneeze in public. I may sneeze in the wrong direction, this may cause someone huge trauma, mental and emotional problems, and then my ass goes to court, they sue the hell out of me, and we all go off and lead our sued filled lives. Am I getting over the top? I really wish I was. Unfortunately this is big business. No longer do we as a general public have to suffer in silence. We can sue for just about anything, whether they be physi...

A rapist who is serving life imprisonment has won over seven million on the lottery. Iorworth Hoare, who was prisoned in 1989 for life for the attempted rape of a 60 year old woman in the park. This was not the first rape he attempted. He was on day release when he took part in the lottery. Should we even have a problem with this? The guy served his time and he could be rehabilitated for all we know. You could argue this isn't fair. Someone who committed crimes, lowest of the low in ...

Racism in any form isn't something that sits well with me at all. You see it is all based on ignorance in my opinion. Ignorance of what we don't understand, ignorance of what is different. Everyone needs things to believe in, and some people believe they have the superior race. That their race will be wiped out if they don't stand up for it. That they have to fight. A fight based on ignorance will not be a fight worth fighting. They are hate attacks on people. That's it. On innocent ...

The news makes me so sad sometimes. All the awful things going on. The worrying this is we probably don't know half of what goes on in the world. At the moment the news is covering the story of Andrew Wragg. An Ex-soldier who has been arrested for the murder of his son Jacob Wragg. Who was ten years old. Jacob was found dead at his home, and was pronounced dead after an ambulance crew failed to revive him. It later came out, he appeared to die of Asphyxiation. Andrew Wragg is current...

I wonder how many women dream of having children when they are younger. Of getting married and living happily ever after. When we are children, little girls generally play with dolls, and drink imaginary cups of tea in their imaginary houses, and little boys run off and get dirty, and find trouble. It's just what kids do. I would also say that many women reach a certain stage in their lives where they want to have a family and have children and look after them, and many are also willing to put ...

I remember my birthday from last year well. I was in Cyprus on holiday with family and friends, it was a great time. A time I won't forget. Just over a week later I flew home, on July 7th. I flew in really early in the morning, and was really tired, so I got home, and slept. Until about 2pm. When I woke up, I put the news on, and there it was all over the news. Devastation. That is what people had wanted to cause, and by god had they succeeded. Terrified, innocent people, just going ...

I read this article today Link Why are people so offended by nudity? Is it not a natural thing? Especially when you are exercising that right in your own garden, and you are only trying to get a tan. Is it really that offensive to someone who is looking in YOUR garden because you are naked? I could understand if you was walking down the street butt naked, or you was dancing around like a mad person in your garden, and your nakedness was just to get at people or to annoy them. But su...

Sometimes it shocks me to get a kick to the teeth and an instant reminder that the world we live in, just isn't a nice place. I'm not ignorant, and I know there are evil people out there, but when you aren't faced with it on a daily basis you do get a certain level of ignorance surrounding you regarding the evil that some people practice. Maybe the words I am using are to strong, and people reading this will have to forgive me. As I am not American I am not always aware of the news and the...

The Paper is rarely full of happy news. Especially concerning recent events. I picked up the paper today, and was faced with this article; SECRETS OF CRUEL MR WEIRD Jan 4 2005 He's the son of a war hero, he spends hours on the internet, he wears dark glasses at all times.. and he sent 35 hoax emails to British disaster families By Rod Chaytor THE email hoaxer who told worried relatives their loved ones had died in the Asian tsunami was behind bars last night as hi...

I love Christmas. With a passion. Obviously it isn't good now, because I am an adult and I can't enjoy it as I did when I was a kid. I still enjoy the build up. The shops getting all festive. The kids getting all festive. The parents groaning. It is all in the spirit of things. Madisons Dad doesn't want her believing in Santa. Apparently it is the first lie, parents tell their children, and as soon as she asks he will be informing her he doesn't exist. He wants her to know he bought...

A car bomb killed at least 16 people and injured more than 50 in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad on Monday. US leaders and the interim Iraqi government have both insisted elections scheduled for next January will still go ahead, though they may not go ahead in every part of the country. King Abdullah of Jordan is against this, and says it will be impossible to hold elections in the current state of chaos that is going on there. So these are the questions that comes to mind.... Can el...

I am currently reading a book that tells its story based around the 1970's. The book isn't important, it's the 1970's that are important, not because of anything significant that happened, but because of the comparison of how we live today. Sure, there was no computer games, no mobile phones, technology was no where near as forward as it is today. I could barely understand the language used in this book. The language that people used to interact with each other. The conversation was tota...

I was on the Tram this morning travelling to work. Now before I carry on with this I do realise that public transport seems to be a running theme throughout 90% of my blogs at the moment, but that is because unfortunately public transport is a huge part of my life at the moment, a part that drives me extremely insane, but at the same time allows you to observe and think about things. It almost makes it all worthwhile (Ha!). So anyway I was taking my life into my own hands by travelling on the Tr...
