"Conversation should be pleasant without scurrility, witty without affectation, free without indecency, learned without conceitedness, novel without falsehood."

Even though I put this in the humor section it is a true story, it just makes me giggle!

My friend was at uni, and as part of her course, she went over to Aussie for six months, to study. She was put in a house with a guy she didn't know very well, but they got to know each other and it was all very sweet. He was from Norway, nice guy from what I can remember. Anyway, soon after moving in the house she came out in this huge rash. Her face was swollen, her eyes were, and she was covered in red blotches everywhere. She looked awful. So off she popped to the doctors, who said she'd have to stop using soaps and stuff, until they found out what it was she was allergic too. So she went a while feeling slightly dirty, and not washing her hair, and plus she still had this awful rash, in the end she gave up and started smelling normal again, hehe! She went on holiday for two weeks with some girlfriends, and the rash magically cleared up, she was back to normal. She returned home, and it appeared again, but even worse again. So she was convinced it was something in the house she was allergic to, which is pretty logical thinking. She eventually returned to England, and her boyfriend went home to Norway. She returned home and again her rash disappeared. She presumed it might of been something to do with the house or the Aussie heat. She didn't see her boyfriend, they kept in touch online and on the phone, and arranged to go on holiday together, so off they went. As soon as she met up with him, this rash appeared again, worse than before again. Returning home it disappeared again. So she was sure it was the sun. Her boyfriend eventually came over to England to see her, and the rash appeared again! She went to the doctors and told them all the details, and the doctor said, I think you're allergic to your boyfriend. She didn't believe it at first, but it all added up. As everytime she got it, it got that bit worse, she had to dump him. We never did find out what it was about him she was allergic too, hehe!

That's priceless. I guess sometimes you have to figure out that it's not meant to be, and others you get a sign

If only finding Mr Right were that easy hey? 'You don't give me a rash? You'll do'

'You don't give me a rash? You'll do'

Well, that is definately something I look for in girl. No rash-giving capabilities.
