Though still a proud Brit!!
I have been writing on JU for a while now, a few months, and when I first started I hardly read any other blogs. I suppose I was pretty ignorant to other peoples blogs, but slowly I read more and more, and became a regular reader of a few, which I guess is to be expected if you're around here for long enough. What I didn't expect was the people reading my blog, I really didn't think I'd get people that interested in what I have to say. I read some fab fiction on here, I read some great poetry, I read people who bring their lives to life for me with words, and then there's me, who basically uses her blog to whinge and moan, and maybe whinge some more. So i'm really surprised that people read, and that they actually seem to like what I have to say, sometimes! I was having this discussion with the lovely floozy suzie, and we discussed some of our faves on JU, and it turned out that the majority are the great Aussies! There are exceptions of course, and I won't name, names, you all know who you are, but I'd like to thank you all for reading my stuff, and many of you really inspire me, so am I allowed to be an honorary aussie??? No mention of the rugby, I promise, hehe! Just kidding!
Another thing that I want to quickly mention in this blog, I'm sorry it's so all over the place, it's late here, and I can't sleep but I'm in a really sleepy state. Anyway fake people really annoy me, I mean really. Maybe I'm untrusting, maybe I judge people to quickly, but more and more I've been reading blogs, and I just think people are not being totally honest, now that's ok, I don't mind that if people stretch the truth, it's there blog they can do what they want, and I could be wrong, I just refrain from reading these blogs. Because I'm watching people comment, and they are really kind and genuine in what they say, and I think is it not completely obvious that these people are telling porkies. I guess I just don't like to see peoples good natures to be taken advantage of! It could be just me, as I said, I'm cynical! This blog has got to be one of my most senseless blogs ever, apologies, i did have a point somewhere it just got lost! Anyway i'll go back to appreciating the great writers till I get to sleep, hehe!
