Weird people, like me, don't ask me why but when they come across me they must find some kind of kindred spirit , because they attach themselves to me and they are pretty difficult to shake off! For example, I was out shopping the other day, me and some friends, and there was these religious guys handing out leaflets, I would say forcing religion on people, but I have more respect, and this one guy picked me out, FOUR of us, and he picks me, grrr......
His starting question to me was, do you know who Jesus is? Before I even had a chance to make a smartarse reply, I was getting a speech, lovely. He then I asked if I believed in god, ahhh touchy subject, I said I believed in something, not sure if it was god. The guy then looked hugely offended and I felt kind of bad, until he suggested that it was a lack of education that made me think like that ( I don't believe in god neccessarily so I must be dumb?), I was going to respond it was more about me not wishing to be brainwashed, but I didn't, I remained polite, made my excuses and left! So I thought that was it, we went on shopping and all was good, until I noticed the guy chasing me. I was thinking he was slightly mad and I'd insulted his faith so he was coming to hurt me, but he caught up with me and said he had a gift for me! Oooooh how exciting......and he pulled out a book all about christianity!!! Yippy yay! Now don't get me wrong, I think that was a nice gesture and in his mind he was doing good, but I feel I showed respect for his beliefs, I stopped and listened to him, but he couldn't respect mine, or lack of?
Whats even worse is, this must have been playing on my mind, because a few days later I had a dream about the guy!!!! He reminded me of my sociology tutor, he looked like him, and had the same patronizing way of talking to people, so he was kind of a cross between the two of them in my dream, and we was back at the same shopping centre, and he just kept chasing me, scary to say the least!!!!
Anyway, enough of that, tonight is the eurovision song contest, ahhh a chance to laugh at people that sing worse than me (and that's saying something!), though If I'm honest I don't actually watch the singing bit, I just watch the scoring part, which kind of defeats the object as I don't know what they are scoring, but I'm guessing whatever it is, it's pretty bad, hehe.
I'm nearly done for today, I want to mention kermit, but I don't know what to say yet again, hmmm. He's acting funny again, I think maybe it's just alot of misunderstandings, and they can be sorted out, I hope that's what it is anyway, still feeling like he doesn't care, I'd feel better if I could have a hug
.
I'm done, yay! Hope you lovely folks have a wicked weekend, take care xxxxxx

Perhaps you should come to pray privately at the Maxwell chapel. Then who knows what could happen Sally!

Do you not believe in freedom of speech Petey?

Sir Peter Maxwell
on May 15, 2004
No i do not, if we gave the peasants even more freedom of speech then the world would be a shambles.

Why a shambles?? Surely every opinion counts? Does it not?

Well on the whole peasants are poorly educated so they are likely to vote for extremist parties such as the British National Party. Educated people such as myself see that these people are playing on the gutter instincts of the working classes in the hope of gaining extra votes.
So you see, some opinions are not as valid as others.

I agree some opinions aren't as valid as others, that goes without saying, but every opinion has its own amount of merit. Surely influencing the majority can't be seen as a bad thing in such political issues

I thought Bearded meteoreman looked familiar.....
Sally,
Not sure how old you are but just wait until these guys start coming uninvited to your door! I guess, at least then, you can shut the door in their face.

Yuck. How annoying are those people? At least you don't get Tv evangelists like over here do you? They drive me crazy, like you say, they should just respect our beliefs or lack of them, and leave us alone. Can't they keep their religion to themselves? Why's it so important to force everyone else into it anyway? It's like a mass cult thing. My friend Polly tries to piss them off, she told one guy she only worshiped one man, the guy said "ah, you mean Jesus?" and Polly said "No, Phil Collins". She does have A strange sense of humor though! I'm not even sure she know who Phil Collins is!
Anyway, thanks for your comment! Sorry I didn't write that blog earlier, it's all quite disappointing actually, well, I'm sure whether to be disappointed or relieved to be honest. Don't worry about being nosy, you can't be half as nosy as I am! Since you asked- I've known Holden my whole life pretty much, we grew up next door to each other, and no, we've never been more than friends, although he did kiss me once in like 8th grade, so I don't think it really counts!
Your Kermit sounds a bit moody? I know it's tough, but maybe you should relax a little, and try not to worry so much? I'm sure he adores you, even if he is a bit distant sometimes. men can be weird like that yknow? Pol would say he's "going into his cave" (from the book "woman are from venus, men are from mars"), but she's addicted to that kinda thing, like Bridget Jones kinda. Check back soon and let me know how ur doing k?
Lots of love, Dyl xxx
