"Conversation should be pleasant without scurrility, witty without affectation, free without indecency, learned without conceitedness, novel without falsehood."

This is the apple of my eye...my little niece Maddy Mae. She is two (and a half) going on fifteen. Ever since she was born I have been amazed at just how fast she has progressed. One minute she was a cute little baby that could do nothing for herself, and now she is into everything, constantly asking questions, and thinks she knows best. How quick did that happen?

She listens, and picks up on everything you say. A friend of my sisters has a son that is alot older than Maddy, he is almost ten. So she picks up ALOT of things from him. For his birthday a few months ago he got a playstation. Something he has wanted for ages. Now all you get from my niece is "I want a playstation", "I want a tv in my bedroom". She is only two!

I was expecting these conversations in many years to come! Maybe I am just far to old fashioned. My sister has informed her none of that will be happening until she is 16, which means nothing to a 2 year old. She is very persistant though! When did kids get so smart? Or were they always smart, and I only just realised?

Anyway that's my gorgeous niece Maddy Mae. Hope you all like the pic *prays it works*

The Pic turned out great!  And just a hint.  After 4 children of my own, and now watching greats (no grands yet - just great neices and nephews) grow up, it still surprises me!

What a beautiful little girl. My neices and nephews are all past this age now. Man, were they cute when they were two. But they grow up so quickly.

Does Maddie have her aunts eyes? If so, I bet her aunt a bit of a looker...

Hehe...thanks! I think it's a good thing to be amazed by kids, and it's great they have the ability to keep amazing us!

Thanks Maso, yeah I find it hard to remember her as a tiny baby, and it wasn't that long ago! Time really does fly....

Ahh the big eyes are a family trait, all the females in the family have big eyes. Maddy is the only one with Brown eyes, the rest of us have blue!

Absolutely gorgeous baby! wow what a smile!

Aww thanks. She is extremely smart, but I don't know if we just think that because she is ours, hehe!

Thanks for all the comments guys x
