A bit of a mad moan....

I am SICK of seeing Friends. I don't think a single day goes past when I don't see a little bit of an episode of Friends. I was watching television today, and saw an old episode of friends. Fine...I guess, I can just about live with that. I watch a bit of it....then I flick through the channels again, and yet again I stumble across Friends! So again I leave it on, and I'm thinking to myself, this looks familiar (forgetting the other hundred times I've seen it) and it's only the episode that I was watching a minute ago on another station! I mean come on, there is only so much Friends you can take. I admit, that when it first started, it was great! It was funny, and it was new, and I enjoyed it. Now I am just sick of the sight of the lot of them. I am sick of episodes that I have seen sooooooo many times before, and I am sick of the same jokes that were funny the first hundred times I saw them! Now you could argue that I don't have to watch them...I'm not forced to. That would be correct. However, it would appear the only way I am completely going to escape Friends, is by not turning the TV on at all!

Now the only thing that I find more irritating than Friends at the moment, is the people that LOVE Friends. They don't just love it, ohhh no! They LOVE it. *sigh* I have one Friend who proudly tells everyone they meet that they have every episode of Friends on DVD. Fair play, if you like it. Not that you need them, because it is repeated on TV soooo much! They didn't appreciate me pointing this out, for some reason....I don't know why. Another thing this person does...which in many ways is even more annoying, is they compare EVERYTHING to Friends. I think the shows are all called "The one where...."(Rachel has a baby). This person actually quotes the shows, and says well this situation is like the time Rachel did this...blah blah. I actually questioned them about this, and their rather defenisive response was, everyone speaks the universal language of Friends....we have all seen the episodes, we all know about the show. YES! Because we are bloody forced to watch it so often!

I know I sound like I'm really moany, but I think that this is an evil twist of fate. There are many shows that are repeated all the time, and say for example there is 20 episodes in a series. I will just see the same 10 over and over again. There will be episodes that I just never see. They just repeat the same ones. Maybe this isn't the case, and I just feel like I am hard done by! All I have to say is....thanks Rachel, Chandler, Phoebe, Joey, Ross and Monica for the memories. Truely I appreciate them. Can they be exactly that though....memories! Please stop tortuting me!

Honest Lost just flies right over my pretty little head. I don't like not knowing what's going to happen, and that feeling that no one who writes it knows where it's going either!

I agree. It is my favorite show, watched it since it started.

Ahh thanks, at least I'm not alone!

Always good to meet others who understand.

Yer, I can't say I'm fond of the cast (hence the title, hehe!).

The one that *really* gets on my nerves is the one that plays monica. ______ Arquette I think...

I tried watching it, and I liked it at first, and then I missed a few episodes, then I learnt the true meaning of 'lost' when I watched it again!
